Love Your Boiler Ltd recently installed a new boiler in High Storrs Sheffield. We installed an Ideal Vogue combi boiler to replace the old inefficient combi boiler that Phillip previously had.
We made a short video about this boiler installation to better explain some of the processes involved and highlight a few key features of the boiler itself.

In this particular new boiler install, the main issue we had to overcome was the lack of access to an appropriate drain/waste point for the safe discharge of waste condensate produced by all modern energy-efficient condensing boilers.
To overcome this problem we installed a soakaway system which is a small plastic vessel buried in the ground to allow the condensate to soak away into the surrounding earth. The soakaway is filled with limestone chippings to neutralise the acidity of the condensate, therefore making it perfectly safe to soak into the earth.
This method of waste termination is always a last resort as there is there will inevitably be an element of disruption to the ground. However as you can see from the video, we reinstalled the paving slabs and cleaned the work area to a high standard. This standard of work and honest approach to each project ensures that we always enjoy a great working relationship with our customers.
